Each Villa contains four double bedroom and four bathroom (three of them are en suite). The lounge of one Villa can be equiped to host reunions or business meeting for up to 20 people. On the main wall of the courtyard you will see a patio door which will enable you to step into a spacious living-room. You will find couches, armchairs, and a satellite-dish TV. This living-room also communicates to the three bedrooms, all with a bathroom inside. Two bedrooms feature double beds while the other has twin beds. Two bathrooms are equipped with shower and the other with a bathtub and shower taps. All the bedrooms have windows overlooking the green outside. From the living-room a spiral staircase will lead you to a gracious mezzanine with a window looking out on the hills. On the mezzanine you will find a double divan bed. The fourth double bedroom is to the side of the courtyard, and it has a large patio door overlooking the shared garden. Next to this bedroom there is a spacious bathroom with shower where there is also a washing machine. From the living-room you can also step into a spacious dining-room furnished with a table and chairs. This room communicates with the kitchen. From the kitchen you can reach a gracious room enclosed as a veranda by large arched windows. Here you will find a table, chairs, and small wicker armchairs. Before your eyes is the beautiful shared garden. The private garden can be reached from the living-room. The garden lies at the back of the villa and it overlooks the valley. You will be able to relax outdoors and enjoy all your privacy. In front of the living-room you will find a patio furnished with a table and chairs. The villa is furnished with care in a pleasant, elegant, and cozy way. The floor is in Tuscan terracotta and the ceiling features wood-joist support and terracotta roof tiles. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner stove, a fridge with freezer, a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave oven.   Land and extra buildings The five Villas are in a radial design around a central garden, so that the back terrace of each Villa is not visible to the guests of the other Villas ensuring complete privacy. Each Villa is 250 sq.m and has its own garden enclosed with an elegant woode fence, One Villa is the residence of the owners, two professionals who with their sensitivity are able to guarantee a qualified hospitality. It has a swimming pool (5 x 12 mt, 1.50 h). In the central green area there is a circular gazebo in white marble inspired by the ancient temple of Priapo which rose on the same plain where Poggio Turchino now stands.   Culture Here is a list of tourist attractions and points of interest that can be reached from Poggio Turchino. PERUGIA one of the most fashionable, unforgettable and surely the largest medieval city in Italy, is situated on a 500 mt (1600 feet) hill overlooking the gorgeous expanses of Val d'Umbria. ASSISI Unesco World Heritage Site, as "it represents an ensemble of masterpieces of human creative genius, such as the Basilica of San Francesco, which have made it a fundamental reference for art history in Europe and in the world". SPOLETO with its medieval old town centre extremely rich in monuments and works of art, is one of the most visited Umbrian places. GUBBIO a delightful village of the Umbria region, whose charm is due in great measure to its medieval buildings, churches and streets, that create an old-time, mysterious atmosphere.   Surroundings Poggio Turchino is located on a flat top of a hill (200 meters – about 656 feet above sea level) on whose slopes olive groves and oak trees grow. It is a small and enchanting hamlet consisting of five similar villas arranged as petals of a flower around a large round-shaped lawn. In the middle of such lawn, there is a little round temple in marble: it is therein to remind us that this hill was once consecrated to Priapus, god of fertility and virility, in Ancient Rome. You will be in a convenient position to go on daily excursions to visit not only the splendid cities of art of Umbria, but also Tuscany and Rome: Perugia is 25 km (about 15.5 miles) away, Assisi 30 km (about 19 miles) away, Todi 15 km (about 9 miles) away, and Spoleto and Orvieto 40 km (about 25 miles) away.
