In the warmer months breakfast is served outdoors under the vine pergola in front of the house. The house, situated in the small village of Torre di Buiano (470m a.s.l.), stands on a west-facing hillside and is surrounded by olive groves and woods. It has good parking facilities and an efficient bus service to the centre of Florence.   Activities There's an area in the garden - panoramic and descreet - where you can practice yoga or tai-chi.   Activities in area Swimming, Golf, Walking, Mountain-biking, Horse-riding, Water sports   Food Just across the road there is an excellent trattoria serving typical Tuscan cuisine.   Accessibility How to reach us: From the north (Bologna): Come off the A1 autostrada at the Barberino exit. Go to Borgo San Lorenzo and from here take the road for Firenze Via Faentina (s.s. 302). Follow the Via Faentina for about 15 km until a crossroads where you will turn left for Fiesole (Via dei Bosconi). After 1.5 km you will come to our house at number 33 on the right side of the road, 100m after the Trattoria "Casa del Prosciutto". From the south (Rome): Come off the A1 autostrada at the Firenze Sud exit. Follow signs for Fiesole. From the west (Pisa): At the end of the A11 autostrada (near the airport) follow signs for the centre (centro). On reaching the ring-road (viali di circonvallazione), follow signs for Fiesole. From Fiesole: from the main square take the road through the village, following signs for Olmo - Torre di Buiano. Continue along this road (Via dei Bosconi) for 7 km. We are on the left at no. 33, just before the restaurant "Casa del Prosciutto".   Further remarks Visitors will find it a perfect base for exploring Fiesole and making day-trips to Florence and the other artistic centres of Tuscany.   B&B Torre di Buiano - room 1   Number of people: 2 Facilities Click here for the next photo   Further remarks This is one of the rooms of the first floor.
