Interior
The apartment has 80 sqm., is recently refurbished and located on the last floor (with elevator) and thus utterly bright and silent. There is one room with a king size bed, large armoire and another bedroom with 2 single beds that can be united, armchair and an armoire. Large living-room with two couches, one of which is a bed-couch, large dinner table, satellite TV. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped: gas cooker with 4 flames and oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, washing-machine, dishwasher, fridge, iron and ironing table.
The bathroom with shower has just been rebuilt. Hairdryer.
The apartment has an autonomous heating system and all rooms have air conditioning with independent regulation.
Land and extra buildings
The area displays many shops and artisan’s workshops, typical italian restaurants and pubs in the nearby small vicoli. Although the apartment lies in a very lively area, it is situated in a very calm side street. The apartment is utterly silent. Bus stops and metro (Line B, Cavour, Repubblica) close walking distance. The flat is 200 m from the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, where important contemporary art expos are on. It is situated on Via Nazionale, one of the large 19th century avenues of Rome, with all sorts of fashionable boutiques, restaurants, pubs, snack bars, banks, exchange offices etc.
Surroundings
The quarter is one of the most typical areas of Rome’s historical centre, e few minutes’ walk from the most important historical monuments: Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Basilica of St. Mary Major, Diocletian’s Therms, Piazza Venezia (with 2 important exposition areas: Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano), the Quirinal (ex papal, now presidential palace) with a breathtaking exposition area – also by its view - in the former stables, the Scuderie del Quirinale, that hosts Rome’s most prestigious expos. Numerous other historical monuments and churches are also reachable in a few minutes’ walk, like S.Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo’s newly restored statue of Moses or Nero’s Domus Aurea.
